I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Humanities with a focus on art history, music and languages from Florida Southern College and went on to graduate studies in the fields of Art History and American Literature at the Universities of Pittsburgh and Bonn.
While still at university I began translating “on the side” to discover the profession was my calling. After thirty years in Germany I recently returned to the United States and settled in Philadelphia, where I continue to serve my German clients – including major cultural mediator organizations headquartered in Munich and Berlin, a demographic institute in Wiesbaden, as well as a publishing house for non-fiction in Mainz specializing in "exceptional books for creatives" – and new customers in North America.
